Do I need to know how to code?

No. On the Manual plan you follow a step-by-step guide, upload your menu, add your FAQs, paste a QR code on your table. On Done-For-You, I do all of it for you.

Which languages does JESSE actually speak well?

20 languages including Japanese, Mandarin, Korean, Arabic, Indonesian, Thai, Vietnamese, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Dutch, and English. It replies in the language the guest writes in, no menu toggle, no plugin.

What happens when my menu changes?

Update it once in the dashboard. Your website widget and QR codes reflect the change within 60 seconds. You never re-upload a PDF.

Which channels does Jesse support?

Currently: website widget and QR codes. WhatsApp and Instagram integrations are on the roadmap after the founding 10 cohort goes live.

Does this replace my reservation system?

No. JESSE sits in front of it. When a guest is ready to book, Jesse hands them off to your existing tool (OpenTable, SevenRooms, WhatsApp link, Google form, whatever you use). No migration required.

Can I really cancel anytime?

Yes. No contract, no cancellation fee, no "let me transfer you to retention". One click in the dashboard. You keep your data.

What's the catch with the free setup?

There isn't one. The first 10 restaurants on Done-For-You get the $99 setup waived because your results become the case studies I'll show the next customers. After the first 10, setup goes back to paid.

What if guests ask something Jesse doesn't know?

Jesse says it doesn't know, offers to connect them to you directly via WhatsApp, and flags the question in your dashboard so you can add the answer to the knowledge base. It never makes things up.

What if Jesse gives wrong information to my customers?

Jesse answers based on the data you provide in your dashboard — your menu, hours, policies, and FAQ. If a guest asks something not covered in your data, Jesse replies with your custom fallback message and directs them to contact you directly. For allergy and dietary questions, Jesse uses a dedicated safety-grade AI model that always recommends guests confirm with your staff rather than making assumptions. That said, Jesse is AI — not a human employee. We recommend reviewing your first few conversations in the dashboard to make sure everything sounds right, and keeping your knowledge base up to date so Jesse always has accurate information to work with.
